Privacy and your files

Updated 11 October 2026.

Passport and local photo tools

Photo cropping, portrait background removal and sheet generation run in your browser. This workflow does not send your photos to our server. Your photo remains in browser memory while the page is open. A temporary local hand-off can pass a photo between editing steps and is cleared after use. Downloaded files remain wherever your device saves them.

Other workspace features

Optional AI-assisted tools are different: after their explicit upload confirmation, selected content is sent through our server to the configured Google AI service. Customer vault and recent-file features can save information locally in IndexedDB. Clear site data on shared devices after use. Do not assume browser storage is encrypted.

Optional analytics

We ask before sending usage analytics. If allowed, we count page views, photo starts, successful export preparation and tool errors. We use a random browser-tab session ID, rotate its stored hash by calendar day in India, and retain up to 90 days of aggregate data and daily session hashes. A session is not a unique person. We do not include photos, filenames, entered text, full referral URLs or saved IP addresses in this analytics store. Temporary in-memory network rate limits prevent excessive requests.

Aggregate usage counts are publicly visible on Site status. Consent preferences are kept in local storage and the random tab ID in session storage. Declining does not stop the tools from working. Change usage preferences.

Hosting and external services

The hosting provider receives ordinary web requests and may maintain operational access logs under its own policies. Links to outside websites follow those websites’ policies. This release does not activate advertising or Google Analytics tracking. Before enabling advertising, the operator must update these disclosures and configure any required consent platform.

Support reports

If you submit a report, we store its text and the optional email you provide in the private operator inbox. Reports are excluded from public analytics, kept for up to 30 days and removed during cleanup. No automatic email is sent. Please do not include personal documents or sensitive identifiers.

Questions

Use the contact route without posting private documents. To remove locally saved information, clear this site’s storage in your browser. We cannot delete files you downloaded onto your own device.
